Introduction & Aim:

A tissue stabilized-guided subcision is a new procedure that represents the only FDA-cleared minimally invasive and clinically proven treatment, made to improve the cellulite blemishes for nearly four years after only one session. The main aim is to evaluate the results of mini-invasive treatment for cellulite blemishes.

We report our experience over 80 patients (78 F; 2 M) who had cellulite treated in one single session. The patients have been selected and classified with a simplified Cellulite Severity Scoring (CSS). Outcome measures included the photograph taken, Cellulite Severity Scale and Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale assessment. The patient's satisfaction, with a 5-point Likert scale and pain rating with Visual Analog Scale, were also recorded. The treatment took 45-65 minutes. We have safely treated from 6 to 55 cellulite sites in only one session.

The procedure has treated successfully the primary structural cause of cellulite blemishes in all of the 80 patients. Transient treatment-related adverse events were mild in severity and the most common side effects reported were soreness and bruising with no serious adverse events.

This revolutionary FDA-cleared procedure combines a proven approach, with an innovative technology to treat the primary structural cause of cellulite blemishes in posterior thighs and buttocks.
